Job Description

Our client, an organization in the oil & gas sector, is seeking a Learning Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting training and development activities across the site, ensuring compliance with internal policies and federal regulations, and managing training documentation and systems.

Salary: $45-50/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77536
Type of Position: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Lead weekly stakeholder engagements with production, maintenance, and laboratory teams
  • Liaise with LMS and ADP management teams
  • Run site compliance reports and share results with senior management
  • Support site audits related to training records, reports, and competencies
  • Establish employee profiles in the LMS
  • Provide technical support and coaching on use of the LMS
  • Ensure data accuracy of compliance information stored in the LMS
  • Support development and updates of procedures and training materials across the site
  • Manage production department turnaround procedure reviews
  • Oversee annual procedure sign-off actions
  • Enter and maintain confidential training records in the site management system
  • Manage production job qualification tests
  • Act as the action owner for Management of Change action items
  • Manage Process Hazard Analysis action items
  • Proctor console assessments as part of the operator hiring process
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a production/maintenance environment or knowledge of work processes in a similar industry
  • Experience with a Learning Management System
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power BI
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to support employees effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with data entry, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation
