Job Description

Our client, an established company in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Senior HR Analyst to join their team. This role provides operational, data analysis, and project coordination support within the Human Resources function, focusing on HR data management, reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks to help build foundational HR processes and support workforce planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, metrics, and workforce analytics to support HR leadership and business decision-making.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity through accurate transaction processing, validation, routine audits, and issue resolution.
  • Process and track employee lifecycle changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation updates, leaves, and terminations.
  • Support HR system enhancements, testing, implementations, reporting improvements, and process automation initiatives.
  • Partner with HR leadership and HR Business Partners to identify reporting needs and translate workforce data into meaningful insights.
  • Track key HR and recruiting metrics and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
  • Support workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, open enrollment, and other annual HR programs through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare workforce and compliance reporting while maintaining accurate documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with data privacy, confidentiality, retention, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support HR compliance activities, including I-9, E-Verify, required documentation, and audit preparation.
  • Assist employees and leaders with HRIS access, reporting, navigation, and system-related questions.
  • Coordinate HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including project tracking, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Provide reporting, presentations, and analytical support for HR leadership and broader HR initiatives.

Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in HR operations, HRIS, workforce reporting, HR analytics, or a related HR function.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience organizing, analyzing, validating, and reporting on HR or workforce data.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, identify data discrepancies, and maintain accurate employee information.
  • Experience processing and analyzing employee lifecycle data, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data integrity and manage confidential employee information.
  • Working knowledge of HR documentation, employment practices, compliance requirements, and recordkeeping.
  • Experience supporting HR operations within a manufacturing, industrial, refining, or unionized environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across HR, leadership, and business teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
