Job Description
Our client, an established organization in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role serves as a strategic HR leader partnering closely with senior leadership to drive talent strategy, workforce planning, and HR initiatives that enable operational excellence and support sustainable growth within a dynamic and high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on performance management, workforce planning, and team effectiveness, including facilitation and calibration of year-end performance reviews to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
- Lead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to enhance efficiency, support restructuring, and enable scalable growth.
- Lead and support change management initiatives related to organizational transformation, cultural evolution, and leadership transitions.
- Develop and execute talent strategies, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development, with a focus on critical technical and leadership roles.
- Design and implement leadership development programs and initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and support current and future business needs.
- Facilitate talent reviews, capability identification, succession discussions, and workforce planning sessions with business leaders to ensure alignment on key talent priorities and development actions.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build and maintain strong, forward-looking talent pipelines aligned with future business requirements and growth objectives.
- Foster a high-performance culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership excellence.
- Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance team performance, drive employee engagement, and improve retention outcomes.
- Partner with leaders to identify organizational capability gaps and implement targeted development strategies that build bench strength and support long-term business success.
- Support and facilitate leadership development, talent calibration, and organizational effectiveness discussions to strengthen leadership capability across the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are clearly communicated, consistently applied, and effectively adopted across the organization.
- Leverage workforce analytics and organizational metrics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and address talent gaps.
- Execute additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support evolving business priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in manufacturing and/or the oil & gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, change management, and talent strategy.
- Knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience working with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, or ADP.
- Strong strategic HR leadership and business acumen with the ability to connect HR solutions to business needs.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
- Skilled in organizational and talent effectiveness, employee relations, risk, and compliance.
- Experience leading change management and cultivating a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Exceptional coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using workforce data and HR systems for decision-making.
