Job Description
A founder-led business group with interests across multiple industries is seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to join the team. This is a hands-on role combining bookkeeping, financial analysis, company administration, and operational execution within an entrepreneurial environment, working directly with the Founder on the financial and operational foundations of the business. The Finance & Operations Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting company administration, and providing operational support across multiple entities.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Responsibilities:
Accounting and financial management
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and supporting records across multiple entities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, track expenses, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare payment schedules, cash-flow forecasts, budgets and weekly financial dashboards.
- Support monthly reporting and year-end preparation with external accountants.
- Track intercompany transactions and maintain clear separation of entity finances.
- Coordinate company formations, registrations and bank-account applications with management and professional advisers.
- Maintain company records, ownership information, contracts and filing calendars.
- Organize documents for accountants, lawyers, banks and other service providers.
- Track deadlines and follow through on outstanding administrative requirements.
- Maintain project trackers and help turn management priorities into completed actions.
- Coordinate vendors, professional advisers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop practical processes for expenses, approvals, recordkeeping and reporting.
- Research business opportunities and prepare concise management briefings.
- Use technology and AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency while protecting confidential information.
- Assist with financial models, business plans and investor materials.
- Organize due-diligence data rooms and supporting documentation.
- Track project budgets and support grant and funding applications.
- Help assess the financial implications of new projects and investments.
Requirements:
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- Strong accounting fundamentals; finance graduates should demonstrate practical bookkeeping knowledge
- Relevant internships or approximately one to three years of experience preferred. Exceptional applicants without full-time experience will also be considered
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail, written communication and follow-through
- Integrity, discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Comfort working in a lean, evolving environment with competing priorities
- Willingness to handle routine administrative work alongside more analytical assignments
- Interest in entrepreneurship, international business and long-term professional growth
- CPA-track candidates are welcome, but certification is not required
