Job Description

Our client, an established growing company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Houston team. The role involves supporting the day-to-day office operations, coordinating travel arrangements, assisting with onboarding and employee events, and managing vendor relationships. This is a hands-on, in-office position requiring proactive initiative and strong organizational skills.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily office operations, including stocking supplies, ordering, and coordinating weekly catering and food services.
  • Handle domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and visas, primarily through booking platforms.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, office access, and building-specific policies.
  • Coordinate employee events, meetings, and external conferences.
  • Support with invoices, expenses, and purchase documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, maintenance providers, and building management.
  • Provide general administrative support to employees and management as needed.
  • Help organize workspace setup, office access, and workplace protocols.
  •  Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in administrative processes.
  • Provide coverage and support during busy periods or team absences.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team and supervisor to prioritize workload and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative, office management, or workplace operations role.
  • Experience supporting corporate office functions and handling travel logistics.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive and independent work style with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with travel and expense platforms such as Navan is a plus.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
