Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead execution of complex, high-value engineered equipment projects from order handoff through delivery and closeout. This role will serve as the primary coordinator across customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams to drive schedule, documentation, quality, and delivery performance.
Salary + Additional Benefits:
- $110,000-$120,000
- Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project execution from order acceptance through shipment, delivery, and closeout for assigned engineered equipment projects.
- Align scope, milestones, and expectations through structured kickoff meetings and clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build and manage project plans, schedules, and recovery actions to support on-time delivery and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, procurement, production, quality, and logistics to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Track and drive completion of critical documentation and approvals (e.g., drawings, procedures, inspection/test documentation) using disciplined version control.
- Identify project risks early (technical, commercial, schedule, and supply chain) and lead mitigation, escalation, and resolution as needed.
- Lead recurring status updates with customers and partners, communicating progress, constraints, and next steps in a clear and professional manner.
- Support inspection, testing, and release activities, ensuring readiness for required witness points and final acceptance documentation.
- Manage project records, change control, and closeout packages to ensure accurate, audit-ready project documentation.
- Minimum 3+ years of project management experience within EPC, engineering equipment, industrial manufacturing, energy infrastructure, or capital project environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full project ownership, including budgets, timelines, supplier performance, and final deliverables.
- Proven capability coordinating multiple suppliers and cross-functional internal teams to deliver complex projects on schedule.
- Strong customer and stakeholder communication skills, including leading meetings and resolving challenging execution or schedule issues.
- Confident, professional presence with the ability to set expectations and push back appropriately when needed (without escalating unnecessarily).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel) and comfort learning new ERP/project controls/document management tools.
- Experience with scheduling, expediting, and documentation control within project execution workflows.
- Industry experience supporting valve manufacturing, automation/controls, or comparable engineered industrial equipment is preferred; a bachelor's degree and/or PMP is a plus.
