A leading manufacturing company serving the global energy and pipeline industry is seeking a CNC Machinist to join the team. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment--including lathes, mills, and Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM)--to machine a variety of finished and semi-finished components, tooling, and fixtures. The CNC Machinist is responsible for reading and editing G-code, adjusting tool offsets, and working with automated systems to ensure precision, technical skill, and safe operation in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines in accordance with specifications, drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
• Perform standard shop calculations related to dimensions, tooling, and part geometry.
• Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a working knowledge of safety protocols and best practices at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a production environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Machinist Lead and Operations Manager - MFG.
• Comply with all company and/or client quality, safety, and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
• Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses, or hazards to your manager or foreman and complete the required documentation.
• Do not perform any task unless you have been properly trained and authorized to do so - when in doubt, stop and ask.

• 3-10 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical processes
• Problem-solving skills; able to identify issues, analyze data, and contribute to group solutions
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and best practices

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documents (such as routers/travelers)
