Job Description
A fast-growing manufacturer of wellhead equipment and 6A valves is seeking a VP, Sales to join the team. This is an opportunity to lead sales strategy and team development for a growing organization within the oilfield services industry. The VP, Sales is responsible for directing sales force effectiveness, including planning, reporting, quota setting, sales process optimization, compensation design, and recruiting and developing sales talent.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, design, develop, and implement market-driven strategies to achieve company short-term and long-term goals, including:
- Drive new customer relationships and maintain/enhance business relations with existing customer base.
- Drive internal organizational improvement to pursue total customer satisfaction.
- Provide training for staff on new and/or updated internal processes and/or HQ provisions.
- Partner internally and with HQ to identify business opportunities and enhance business performance.
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and lost opportunity reports, and implement strategies to enhance probabilities as well as control overhead expenses to enable budgeting efficiencies.
- Collaborate internally and with HQ to optimize technology strategy (i.e. CRM and OA) to enhance company sales.
- Remain knowledgeable and current on company, industry and customer changes and developments.
- Abide by all corporate and local policies and ethical standards related to business operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and more than 18 years industry/sales experience, or
- Associates degree and more than 15 years industry/sales experience, or
- Bachelor's degree, preferably within a general business or technical related discipline, and 12 years sales experience within the oilfield services industry, or
- Master's degree and 5-8 years sales experience within the oilfield services industry
- Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives
- Experience in managing people

- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines

- Basic finance knowledge: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement
- Schedule and travel flexibility to address customer related needs outside of normal office hours, including regular domestic travel
- Personal transportation to travel to and meet with customers
