A stable and innovative leader in industrial condition monitoring systems is seeking a temporary Receiving Inspector to join the team. This is an approximately four-to-six month assignment supporting a NW Houston facility. The Receiving Inspector is responsible for receiving incoming materials and parts, conducting initial quality inspections, and performing administrative tasks within the company's ERP system.

• Place incoming material into Arrived Status in ERP (IFS).
• Verify that part quantity matches PO quantity.
• Inspect parts to Engineering documents or specifications including First Article Inspections.
• Receive purchase orders into the ERP system once parts are verified to be acceptable.
• Operate Forklift.

• 1 year of experience in Receiving and Inspection of manufactured and purchased parts
• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year experience in the use of general measurement equipment found in a light engineering environment (includes height gauges and calipers, etc.)
• Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills; written, oral, and inter-personal
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• MS Office experience required and working knowledge of MRP system is a plus
