A distributor of industrial and MRO supplies is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Representative to grow their Houston market. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial, proven salesperson who wants the freedom to build relationships, make decisions, and grow a profitable territory with the support of an established regional distributor. The Senior Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and building long-term customer relationships throughout the Greater Houston market.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

• $90,000-$110,000 + Commission (OTE - 160-200K)

• Develop new business throughout the Greater Houston area.
• Grow existing industrial and commercial accounts.
• Call on maintenance managers, plant managers, purchasing managers, operations leaders, and business owners.
• Build long-term customer relationships based on responsiveness and service.

• Five or more years of successful outside sales experience in industrial or MRO distribution
• An established network of industrial contacts in the Houston market
• Experience selling: Fasteners, Safety products, Hand and power tools, Electrical supplies, Abrasives, Janitorial and facility supplies, Material handling products, Pumps and industrial equipment, Welding products, and General maintenance products
• A demonstrated history of growing profitable accounts
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with companies such as Grainger, Fastenal, MSC Industrial, Motion, Applied Industrial Technologies, Ferguson Industrial, White Cap, BlackHawk Industrial, SunSource, or similar distributors is highly desirable
