Job Description

A fast-growing company in the medical manufacturing industry is seeking a Fulfillment Associate to efficiently prepare finished goods and manage warehouse functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and safety-conscious. Working collaboratively, the new team member will contribute to warehouse efficiency by accurately preparing work orders, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring timely and safe product fulfillment while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Location: Houston, TX 77064
Type of Position: Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm product information matches that of the work order.
  • Locate and extract products from bins and storage areas.
  • Inspect the product for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
  • Pack products for shipment including weighing, labeling, and loading.
  • Manually or mechanically load and unload products from pallets, skids, platforms, using warehouse equipment to move product and orders through the warehouse
  • Ensure shipments are delegated to the appropriate couriers
  • Capable of achieving and exceeding quality goals on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
  • Follow OSHA, TX Dept of Health, & FDA compliance guidelines.
  • Arrange products according to FIFO methodology.
  • Assist as needed performing other duties as assigned by the Fulfillment Manager / Supervisor.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or shipping environment preferred
  • Ability to accurately verify product information against work orders and shipping documents
  • Experience picking, inspecting, packing, weighing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment
  • Ability to manually and/or mechanically load and unload products from pallets, skids, and platforms
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product damage, defects, or irregularities
  • Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices
  • Ability to meet or exceed daily quality and productivity goals
  • Understanding of and ability to follow OSHA, Texas Department of Health, and FDA compliance guidelines
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to assist with additional duties as assigned by the Fulfillment Manager or Supervisor
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
