Job Description
A well-established law firm with extensive experience in real estate, loan documentation, and transactional matters is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Legal Secretary to provide support with commercial loan documentation and related legal administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bank loan documents and the ability to independently prepare, review, and organize loan documentation with minimal supervision. Candidates with experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment are highly preferred, though individuals with relevant commercial banking experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and organize commercial loan documentation and related legal documents.
- Support attorneys with real estate, lending, and transactional matters.
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal correspondence and documentation.
- Maintain and manage loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate document execution, signatures, and closing packages as needed.
- Communicate with attorneys, lenders, clients, and third parties regarding documentation requirements and status updates.
- Conduct administrative and secretarial tasks to support daily office operations.
- Ensure all documentation complies with applicable legal and lending requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience preparing and supporting commercial loan documentation is required.
- Prior experience working within a law firm that handles real estate, lending, or transactional matters is highly preferred.
- Commercial banking experience with direct exposure to loan documentation preparation will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of commercial loan documents, closing packages, and related lending procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines in a part-time environment.
