Job Description
A well-established supplier of industrial vibration monitoring systems is seeking an Assembler to assemble precision components according to detailed work instructions and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience assembling small, intricate parts who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to learn new skills. While electronic soldering experience is a plus, it is not required--the company provides training for motivated individuals who are excited to learn.
Unlike a traditional assembly line environment, this position operates in a cell-based manufacturing environment, where employees are cross-trained to perform a variety of assembly tasks and support production as business needs change.

Hours: 6am-5pm M-TH (must be available to work overtime Friday (8-10 hours) and Saturday (6 hours) when needed)

Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Assemble small, precision components following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Handle and inspect very small parts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Learn multiple assembly processes through cross-training in various manufacturing cells.
- Perform testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, small power tools, and production equipment as needed.
- Follow all quality, safety, and environmental procedures, including OSHA regulations.
- Work independently while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
- Over-time as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Experience assembling small, detailed components is required
- Ability to work with very small parts and perform detail-oriented tasks
- Electronic soldering experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn soldering and other assembly processes through company-provided training
- Comfortable working in a cell-based manufacturing environment with cross-training across multiple workstations
- Experience using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills
