Job Description

A fast-growing transport company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Assistant to support both yard operations and administrative functions. This hybrid role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicative individual with experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, and administrative support. The successful candidate will enhance operational efficiency by ensuring smooth vehicle preparation, accurate documentation, scheduling, and inventory management while aligning daily processes with broader organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
• Assist with efficient vehicle preparation, inspection, and delivery workflows
• Coordinate with logistics and yard teams to align operational activities
• Participate in vehicle testing and support logistics scheduling
• Maintain safety and quality standards during yard operations
• Guide and support team members during daily operational tasks
• Collaborate with maintenance and administrative teams to meet operational goals
Administrative Support
• Manage documentation related to vehicle deliveries and logistics
• Maintain up-to-date records for vehicles, trailers, parts, and flatbed kits
• Coordinate and document delivery schedules
• Prepare accurate reports on inventory, schedules, and performance metrics
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders
• Collect and document client and vendor feedback
• Support continuous improvements in administrative and operational workflows

Requirements
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Administrative background in logistics or warehouse operations
• Experience in yard or logistics operations preferred
• Familiarity with logistics systems and basic vehicle operations
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CDL license (required or strongly preferred depending on duties)
• Proficiency in English; Spanish and or Portuguese is a plus
