Job Description

A leading distributor of premium, natural pet food is seeking a Warehouse Floor Supervisor to oversee order accuracy, warehouse organization, and personnel management. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and results-driven leader with experience in warehouse operations and team supervision. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence by ensuring efficient order fulfillment, maintaining a well-organized and compliant warehouse, and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork while optimizing workflows and meeting deadlines.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

$22-25/hr.

Location: Houston, TX 77064
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Hours: 8-5 M-F (5-10 overtime hours/week)

Responsibilities:

Order Supervision
- Assign and monitor duties to Order Selectors and Quality Control team.
- Train and supervise order selectors and Quality Control to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Work closely with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to identify and replenish out-of-stock items.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
Warehouse Organization
- Ensure products stay in clean, sellable condition on shelves, including new and returned items.
- Minimize product damaged during the selection and shipping process.
- Ensure the warehouse stays clean, pest-free and well-organized.
- Work with Warehouse Manager to ensure stock of warehouse supplies.
Personnel Management
- Ensure that the team is working in a safe manner, following proper procedures.
- Lead by example with Order Selector and Quality Control team.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager for personnel needs or disciplinary actions needed.

Requirements:

5+ years relevant experience supervising employees in a warehouse or distribution center
Food Distribution/ Freezer experience a plus
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of delivering results
Detailed oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with teams across all levels of the operation
