Job Description
A leader in cold chain transportation is looking for a Transportation Safety Manager responsible for planning and managing operations across a large team of drivers and loaders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive knowledge of safety policies and applicable standards. Ensuring accuracy, the new team member will meet/exceed operational objectives by developing and optimizing safety management processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory policies & procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assign vehicle repair and maintenance duties.
- Monitor driver qualifications and training.
- Inspect loads and prevent overloading.
- Keep and transmit complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet and for cargo transported.
