Job Description

A fast-paced private money lending agency has an exciting opportunity for a Transaction Coordinator to oversee and assist with buyer transactions from contract to close. The ideal candidate is highly organized and knows office principles & processes. Communicating effectively, the new team member will drive business efficiency by ensuring accuracy & coordination while maintaining a high level of professionalism and excellence.

Salary + Benefits:
  • $45,000-$55,000 (No overtime)

Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Support Loan Officers and Accounting Team on executing/funding loans, which includes verifying and reviewing all required borrower documents, generating loan documents, and processing and funding wires.
  • Perform routine administrative duties, including answering phones, preparing FedEx shipments, and filing.
  • In this role you would perform specialized loan fulfillment activities to improve Operational efficiency and accuracy
  • 80% of this role would be data entry/admin/emails and 20% document management
  • Prepare loan documents for title and client
  • Coordinate between Title, Borrower(s), and Loan Officer from beginning of the deal to funding. 
  • Maintain company pipeline and accurate records.  This includes loan files, and other filing needs. 
  • Typing, Filing, answering phones, greeting and assisting customers and prospective customers
  • Coordinate with the loan processors to complete and return the documentation for closing/funding.
  • There may be other tasks and special projects to be performed as needed and assisting the Supervisor as requested.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • 2+ year administrative skills/data entry experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Tech savvy and experience working in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks at a high volume and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible to work later some days and at the end of the month due to heavy volume.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and professional
  • Ability and willingness to quickly and efficiently adapt in a rapidly changing, small company environment
  • Able to handle conflicting deadlines while meeting requirements and maintaining accuracy
