A leading company specializing in automation and process technology solutions is looking for a Technical Account Manager to help in building a local team of employee-owners, delivering better Automation and Control solutions in Memphis. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will create greater value faster by striving to leverage agile design and development methods, implementing world-class technology solutions, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective project execution.

Location: Bartlett, TN
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate how to implement technical solutions with some of our key accounts.
  • Work with our inside and outside sales team to implement word-class technology solutions.
  • Grow revenue through technical sales strategies for the following products/technologies: Pressure/Temperature/Level/Flow Instrumentation, Quarter-turn Valves, Control Valves, and Pressure Management.
  • Develop Bills-Of-Material based on customer requirements.

Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience; BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering is a plus
  • Working knowledge of process instrumentation, valves, and control systems
  • Experience with CAPEX projects and MRO activities
  • Leadership interests and agility
  • Desire to learn and guide others to build their expertise and solve problems
  • Hunger to build a business through caring, knowledgeable, friendly service
  • Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, TDC 3000/2000, HC900, ControlEdge, and ENRAF products is a plus
  • 2 years of technical sales experience is a plus
  • Equivalent experience with other control systems such as: Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell ControlLogix PLC’s, Siemens PLCS, Siemens PCS7 is a plus
  • Self-starter / strong team player
  • Organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at fast pace
  • Strong written and verbal communications
