Job Description
Salary + Additional Benefits:Â

Location: Victoria, TX 77904
Type of Position: Direct Hire        Â
Responsibilities:
- Operate swab rigs to safely and efficiently remove fluids from oil and gas wells to restore or enhance production flow.
- Set up and rig down equipment at well sites, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Monitor well pressures, flow rates, and fluid recovery during swabbing operations, making real-time adjustments as needed.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of rig equipment including cables, winches, pulleys, and engines to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Communicate with field supervisors, pumpers, and other oilfield personnel to coordinate well site operations and report well conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of swabbing activities, well performance data, and equipment usage for reporting and compliance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field and perform minor repairs to avoid job interruptions.
- Ensure all tools and materials are loaded, transported, and secured properly before traveling to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of PPE, hazard assessments, and participation in safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating swab rigs or similar oilfield equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform field repairs and preventive maintenance
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record strongly preferred
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with well pressure monitoring and fluid recovery practices.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs., climbing, and working in remote field locations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional oilfield or mechanical training is a plus
