Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Work cross-functionally with all departments to develop successful operational strategies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategies and increase sales.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Collaborate with policy and process setting.
- Evaluate and improve operations for financial performance.
- Develop store strategies to increase customer traffic and optimize profitability.
- Ensure employees are productive, well-trained, and develop professionally.
- Implement cross-training of employees to maintain productivity.
- Direct employee assessment process.
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff.
- Lead and develop store staff, including sales, buyers, e-commerce, and administration.
- Assist in selection, evaluation, and development of team members.
- 7-10 years of Store Manager experience - proven ability to manage all aspects of a retail operation
- Strong leadership and management style along with confident decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and in-store planning skills
- Business & financial acumen, with proven record in managing store profitability
- Customer-focused dedication along with strong sales skill
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout retail space
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at a time and move fixtures on sales floor; be able to use a ladder, step stool, and have the ability to push a flatbed cart
