Job Description


A fast-paced, high-growth automotive company is looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment, is a problem solver and well versed in general accounting functions. Location: Central Houston, TX – In office 77054
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end closing duties including capturing and ensuring accuracy of key data from end of month
  • Maintain and review accuracy of general ledger balances, including preparation of monthly account reconciliations
  • Daily cash analysis and reconciliations
  • Verifying and reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Investigate and troubleshoot accounting transaction errors or omissions
  • Investigate and communicate variances with a focus on identifying root causes
  • Special projects as needed by management.

Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Business or Finance required
  • 2+ years of related accounting experience required
  • Experience working in a fast paced, multi-location environment
  • Dealership experience preferred
  • Well versed in MS Office 365, G-Suite
