Job Description

A leading oil refinery company is looking for a Sales Specialist to drive new business acquisitions, oversee existing client relationships, and offer customer sales support. The ideal candidate has experience with transmission oils, axle fluids, electric vehicle fluids, and shock absorber oils. With excellent communication skills, the new team member will help achieve revenue and profitability goals by providing a world-class, solutions-driven experience and focusing on customer satisfaction.

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Manage internal and external accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure profitability.
  • Product Solutions: Recommend product solutions that align with customer objectives and the company’s value proposition to establish a competitive advantage.
  • Sales Strategy Support: Assist in creating sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support the company’s vision.
  • Commercial Coordination: Coordinate commercial activities across the organization, including Engineering, Quality improvements, Quoting, Negotiating, and Reporting.
  • Customer Relations: Promote effective communication with customers and develop professional working relationships with all customer representatives.
  • Economic Analysis & Quotation: Manage economic analysis, data mining, and quotations by customers and products.
  • Detail-Oriented: Maintain a high level of detail orientation and organization in work.
  • Prioritization & Multitasking: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, simultaneous, and sometimes competing deliverables.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Independent & Collaborative Work: Work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Critical & Strategic Thinking: Exhibit strong critical and strategic thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience in a position into Lubricants business (ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP, Total, Valvoline, Fuchs, Philips 66, Pennzoil, etc.), OEM companies (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Toyota, Daimler, etc.) or Tier1 (Dana, AAM, JATSO, Denso, PACCAR, Allison Cummins, Meritor, etc.), NOT OEM Distributors or retail sales shop
  • Engine oil experience is not preferred. Transmission, Axle, electric vehicle fluid, and Shock absorber oil are preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual - Korean/English is preferred but not mandatory
