Job Description

A leading company in the seismic acquisition industry is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth by promoting innovative products and services in marine surveying and seismic data acquisition. The ideal candidate is a strategic and technically adept professional with a strong sales background. Working collaboratively, the new leader will identify new opportunities, manage customer relationships, and negotiate contracts while coordinating cross-functional efforts and supporting the development of new business models.
        
Salary + Additional Benefits: 
  • $130,000-$160,000 + Bonus

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: 
  • Implement a proactive sales approach, promote our products and services to customers, and ensure the presentation of products/services at regional and/or international trade shows. 
  • Identify new prospects and new sales opportunities. 
  • Conduct negotiations in line with Group policies and their own objectives. Build offer and argue by taking into account the technical and economic needs of international customers with the support of our support services (Finance, Legal).
  • Coordinate and monitor the execution of contracts in contact with internal departments and customers.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, monitor technology and competition watch to detect new needs. 
  • Participate in the implementation of new services and development of new business models.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Geoscience, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in an environment of products or technical equipment
  • Knowledge of seismic or geophysics would be an asset
  • Demonstrated technical and business aptitude that allows you to understand, translate, and guide discussions and decisions at a strategic level as well as at a detailed execution level
  • Ability to influence and work with many internal stakeholders
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies and lifecycle
  • Technical curiosity 
  • Experience in selling services or solutions would be an asset
  • Available for 20% travel
