Job Description

A well-established home building company is looking for a Sales Manager to provide sales and transactional training support to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a motivational leader who deeply knows home sales and general construction. Working closely with the sales team, the new trainer will drive revenue growth through effective training and implementation of sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and satisfied customers.
                                                               
Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $110,000-$115,000 + Annual Bonus

Location: Dallas, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for executing company’s sales initiatives, providing sales and transactional training support to achieve sales goals.
  • Inspire and grow sales teams through coaching and productive feedback.
  • Implement local engagement plans to generate traffic to communities (prospect follow-up, referrals, realtor relationships, etc.).
  • Guide Sales Team with sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and satisfied customers.
  • Ensure that all Sales Consultants coordinate regularly with field and office staff to ensure timely closings and satisfied homeowners.
  • Comprehend all community competitors and develops strategies for consistent success.

Requirements:
  • Successful home sales experience
  • General construction knowledge
  • Demonstrable track record of leading a team of people
  • Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Must be resourceful and present a professional public image
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills 
  • Customer Service Skills with the ability to handle difficult situations that may occur 
  • Must be self-motivated with leadership skills and can negotiate 
  • Ability to assess competitive sales environments and the ability to provide effective solutions
  • Adept at managing change
  • Ability to motivate and train staff
  • Ability to assess current staff strengths and weaknesses and establish a course of action to improve as needed
  • Weekend work required
  • Two consecutive days off during work week (days are negotiable)
