Job Description
A worldwide transportation solutions supplier is looking for a high-performing Sales Executive to represent its organization professionally and follow through with prospects to close business. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a well-rounded expert in freight forwarding with good presentation and business writing skills. Working collaboratively, the new team member will drive revenue growth by effectively communicating with the highest level of integrity and demonstrating strong negotiation & closing techniques aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
- Build and expand portfolio of customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals and online research and build longstanding relationships with these prospects and customer.
- Communicate recommended products and services needed and present sales proposals for the recommended products.
- Master company knowledge, products, services delivery model.
- Evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations with the highest level of integrity.
- Document pipeline and activity through provided CRM.
- Complete Cardone U Training daily and attend weekly sales meetings in office.
- Maintain contact with customers throughout the sales process to ensure the delivery of information and any additional authorizations.
- Manage overall account relationships for customers to ensure excellent customer service during implementation and ongoing maintenance of the account.
- Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business across all product.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma required; BS in Business preferred
- 3-5 years of experience selling in freight forwarding services
- Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required
- Have a well-rounded knowledge in Freight Forwarding
- Have a fundamental understanding of the processes and documentation requirements involved in international and domestic shipping
- Proven success in gaining new business through prospecting
- Good presentation and business writing skills
- Solid verbal communication and an aggressive drive, as well as commitment to develop and grow a client base
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
- Initiative-taking individual with a high level of enthusiasm
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities
- Must always maintain professional demeanor and appearance
- Competitive mindset to WIN, while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Must have organized approach to workload with proper follow through
- Effectively communicate in English with team members, management, and customers in both verbal and written format
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to maintain positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Remarkable consultative sales ability, while providing excellent customer service
