Job Description

A well-established telecommunication/cable TV technology company is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive new business development and expand existing accounts. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader with a strong background in the Telecom and Cable TV industry. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales operations and overall growth by establishing strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.

Location: Denver
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and rapidly grow new business and accounts leveraging the complete company offering.
  • Identify, qualify, and capture sales opportunities by meeting with clients, performing market research, and ultimately presenting advanced integrated sales, offering technologies such as Fiber Optic, UPS Power Cabling, and Production Solutions.
  • Identify market trends where new and existing products can be utilized.
  • Work with Engineering to design, change, or update existing products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the sales team in building strong working relationships with customers and sales teams.
  • Understand the market trends and adaptability to follow those trends.
  • Achieve sales objectives and quotas.
  • Negotiate potential opportunities and projects.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5-10 years of OSP Telecommunication Engineering or Construction experience required
  • Prefer to have 3 to 5 years of experience in Telecommunication
  • Engineering experience in data cable distribution systems is highly preferred
  • Fiber Optic Knowledge / Cable TV
  • Ability to develop and present comprehensive sales proposals
  • Relationship Building Skills - Ability to work within a dynamic team setting and provide role model leadership to our workforce
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of CATV, Telephone, or Fiber Optic Cable Networks or applications
  • Understand Telecommunications Design
  • Traveling Required
  • Extensive Training Program available
