Job Description

A well-established wholesale distributor in the health and beauty care industry is looking for a Sales Administrator to support the sales team. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented and possesses extensive knowledge of customer service, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage sales-related data. With outstanding organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, the new team member will help achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement, accuracy, and efficiency.

Location: Montgomery, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire


Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily paperwork, phone calls, computer work involved in assisting sales.
  • Evaluate and ensure that all submitted new items/programs have proper documentation.
  • Communicate daily with external customers, warehouses, and District/Regional Sales Managers regarding sales order status, availability, pricing, shipping, and missing items.
  • Maintain accuracy for new product information, dates, and pricing, including promotions and special offers.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate data input into databases, spreadsheets, and work orders.
  • Coordinate with accounts receivable to ensure accuracy of invoicing and resolve order and billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and efficiency within the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide month-end and quarter-end support as needed to achieve corporate goals.
  • Participate in projects and goals to support Department and Corporate goals.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, experience supporting a sales team preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask, and work independently
  • Strong communication (written and oral), organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Adjust to changing priorities, be assertive, creative, work well under pressure, and perform with minimal supervision
