Job Description
The Inside Sales Lead will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on managing and growing key accounts, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting the delivery of complex engineered solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support.

Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and customer retention.
- Oversee the quoting process, bid specifications, and record-keeping in line with company standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product features, pricing, availability, and order status.
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction, sharing insights with management for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Parts, Service, Engineering) to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, supply and demand, and competitive activities.
- Develop sales strategies to maximize volume, product mix, and profitability.
- Foster a culture of learning by participating in relevant workshops, reviewing industry publications, and building professional networks.
- Document and track account activities and interactions using CRM systems.
- Conduct regular customer meetings to understand evolving needs and strengthen relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in inside sales or account management within a manufacturing or engineered products environment, specifically within Stainless & Alloy product lines.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and communicate the features of complex engineered products.
- Experience with quoting, order management, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; skilled at building relationships with both customers and cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven, customer-focused, and highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies and achieve business targets.
