Job Description

A well-established service company in the transportation and equipment space is seeking an Account Executive to expand its customer base and drive sustainable growth across the region. The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with a proven ability to prospect, close deals, and manage long-term client partnerships. Communicating effectively, the new team member will increase market share by building strong customer relationships and providing tailored fleet solutions while consistently exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company’s continued success.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

Location: Midland, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, consistent communication, and superior service.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to assess client needs, present customized solutions, and close sales opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities within the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while upholding the company’s core values and service standards.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and community functions to promote the company brand and generate leads.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–5+ years of proven success in outside sales with a demonstrated ability to close business and manage client accounts.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly accountable with strong follow-through.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in organization, planning, and time management.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Resilient and adaptable with the ability to handle objections and challenges positively.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Passionate about personal success and professional growth.
  • Knowledge of working with CRM.
  • Resilience and ability to overcome objections. Positive attitude is a must.
  • Willingness to grow with company.
