Job Description
Business Development Manager – Aerospace/Space
Job Description: Establishes and implements a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base in the Aerospace market.
Location: Houston, TX - RemoteÂ
Salary: $150,000-$200,000 + Commission
Core expectations:
- Use professional and technical contacts to create a network that establishes a base for current and future sales - both within and outside the markets we currently serve.
- Studying existing and potential client products and volumes and focusing on those that strategically fit our business.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing sustainable solutions that can be applied to prevent future similar situations with any of our customers.
- Seek out new business.
- Be the liaison between the customer and operations when expedites or special instructions need to be conveyed between parties. Provide customers with quick responses and world class support.
- Keeps management informed by providing information on industry and market trends, analyses of our competitors (pricing, lead times, etc.), and customer expectations.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.
Education/Experience:
- An understanding of Aerospace customers
- Open to 35-50% travelÂ
- 5+ years of recent industry experience in a sales position is essential.Â
- Outbound sales, new business development experience.Â
