Job Description
A leading construction supply company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive market growth and expand customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with experience in construction-related products and services. Working collaboratively, the new hire will support revenue objectives by developing new business, managing existing accounts, and delivering technical solutions while providing exceptional customer service.

Location: Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, including contractors, developers, and municipalities.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities, conduct client meetings, provide technical product knowledge, and manage sales pipelines to achieve revenue goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensure smooth coordination of product delivery, and stay informed about industry trends and product updates to better serve client needs.
Requirements:
- Sales and customer relationship management skills, including prospecting, lead conversion, and account management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical product information effectively to diverse audiences
- Understanding of civil construction, utilities, or stormwater management materials and industries
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Problem-solving skills for addressing customer needs and providing effective solutions
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in basic office applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and excellent time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in outside sales and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally to client locations
