Job Description
A leading provider of high-quality sheet metal machinery is seeking a Sales & Distribution Manager to drive commercial growth and lead operations at its Houston distribution center. The ideal candidate is a strategic and people-focused leader with experience in sales management, distribution operations, and dealer network development. Working collaboratively, the new leader will expand market reach by growing the dealer network and optimizing sales strategies while managing daily operations, mentoring a high-performing team, and ensuring excellence in service delivery and compliance.

Responsibilities:Â
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase service contract revenue.Â
- Manage and expand the dealer network, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.Â
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance market presence.Â
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.Â
- Collaborate with senior management to align commercial goals with company objectives.Â
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.Â
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the distribution center.Â
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 employees to achieve operational excellence.Â
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Address and resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, or a related field preferredÂ
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a distribution center or similar environment
- Knowledge of dealer network management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with sales and service contract strategies preferred
- Experience in the sheet metal machinery industry (not mandatory) preferred
