Job Description

A global manufacturing company is seeking an Aftermarket Sales professional to support parts and service sales. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with experience in technical or industrial markets. Working collaboratively, the new hire will drive business growth by developing customer relationships and managing sales opportunities while supporting pipeline development and CRM activities.

Salary + Additional Benefits: 
  • $72,000-$100,000 + 30% bonus potential

Location: Remote – OH, IN, central IL 
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: 
  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell products and services. 
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader.
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them into real business opportunities in order to ensure the pipeline.
  • Identify, and develop new markets & customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Aftermarket: Manage sales rep firms and call directly on customers.
  • Includes social media selling such as webinars, LinkedIn, etc. as applicable.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Run the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.  
  • Build and maintain a sufficient network of customers.
  • Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
  • Own the orders through the entire process (quoting, entry, follow-up, expedited, etc.)
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way to support the sales process and take decisions.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising and pricing strategies for the region. 
  • Support Channel Sales only as required.
  • Expected travel 35%-50%.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in sales and sales management with technical equipment sales
  • Strong Sales and market analysis skills
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills
  • Strong key account management skills
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external business partners, both orally and in writing. English required (bi-lingual a plus).
  • Must be located in OH, IN, or central IL
