Job Description

A well-established company has an exciting, newly created position, for a Regional Sales Manager (E. Coast) 

Location: Remote

Salary: Depends on experience

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for the understanding and development of an assigned territory (East Coast) in order to successfully maximize and increase revenue and bottom line profitability
  • You will achieve this by selling companies products to existing and new Customers, remaining abreast of the current market and trends, and obtaining a comprehensive understanding the competition
  • Marketing, product forecasting, and monitoring the order process and the shipment of orders
  • Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and KPI’s and supports Company revenue and profit targets
  • Various marketing responsibilities to assure maximum penetration in the market
  • Working alongside the Marketing/Sales Director in order to gain full product development and to assist in the overall success of our products
  • Customer presentations via telephone, Skype and face-to-face
  • Meet regularly with existing Customers and Prospects in assigned territory
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with Customers and Prospects and be available and responsive to Customers and Prospects real-time needs
  • Continuous prospecting for new leads

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Ideal candidate will possess an MBA
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
  • Ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and a background within the CPG industry
  • Entrepreneurial background
  • Experience must be in CPG, Hygiene, or Food / Beverage
  • Documentation of sales success and overachieving goals
  • Experience selling through food brokers, and experience dealing with major retailers 
  • Successful track record of managing accounts and brokers to achieve goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate a high level of independence and self-motivation - take initiative and show resourcefulness while working in a flexible and collaborative team environment
