Job Description
A well-established chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Technical Manager to provide technical assistance to the sales and supply chain departments. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge in quality management and product process methodologies. Working cross-functionally, the new team member will positively impact the business by providing comprehensive support and developing technological innovation strategies aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to sales and supply chain.
- Responsible for product quality process oils and wax.
- Act as Quality Management Representative.
- Audit lead for suppliers.
- Maintain regional product documents – product technical data sheets, customer quality requirements, quality reporting on technical data.
- Provide regional support to Product Managers & Technical Managers.
- Responsible for supply chain management.
- Provide inventory management support.
- Provide forecasting and production planning support.
- Responsible for FMIS tracking and documentation.
- Provide logistics support, especially rail car tracking and planning.
- Provide vendor pricing support.
- Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings.
- Provide internal and external audit support.
Requirements:
- BS or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering Required.
- Product technology – application, attributes, blending property predictions, health & safety
- Product process technology
- 3+ years of experience with Base oil refinery lab or Lubricant blending lab
- Quality management expertise – product quality control, process audit skills, logistics expertise
- Manufacturing, selling or marketing of petroleum products to the rubber, adhesives, or wax industries
- Technical manager in related industrial field
