Location:Â Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Decide on the right place to manufacture collaboratively working with VP Sales and Product Management.
- Accurate and timely market analysis, business planning and reporting, monitoring performance to business objectives and emerging trends and markets.
- Drive the sales initiatives to obtain customer excellence and planned business growth, communicating and holding meetings to ensure traction is sustained.
- Monitor sales input, tendering, and sales team performance, taking necessary action for underperformance.
- Liaise with internal sales teams to ensure collaborative offering, proactively cultivating customer relationships to drive sales.
- Guide and work with the commercial sales team, technical staff, and other internal colleagues to plan and develop accurate proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Perform pre-and-post-contract reviews, covering all commercial and contractual aspects.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Coach and support the global sales team to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
- Create a high performing team culture.
- Ensure CRM is maintained so that all information is precise and up to date.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have Control valve experience dealing with EPC’s
- Experience with New business development, hunting EPC projects
- High level of attention to detail and systematic approach to tasks
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Influence achievement of order intake targets by ensuring the teams are working collaboratively to put forward our most commercially competitive offerings, presented in accurate bids that are in line with customer expectations
- Customer excellence monitored through NPS system
- Required to manage own time and collaborate with other stakeholders (internal and external) as appropriate to maximize outputs, efficiencies, and stakeholders’ satisfaction
- Liaise with the Regional sales team to ensure divisional Aftermarket targets are met
