Job Description
A premier provider of permeable paving is looking for a Project Manager to meet project objectives and manage resources in an effective & efficient manner. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with a strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Working cross-functionally, the new team member will deliver strategic value and scalable growth by meeting project requirements and high-quality standards in accordance with outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Salary: $20-$26/hour
Location: Different job sites in Houston area (Must have reliable transportation)
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience as project manager working on residential and commercial jobs
- Experience working in a small company environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Current certifications to operate machinery
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Ability to speak professionally with project owners, GCs, etc.
- Bilingual is a plus
