Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to the construction and commissioning processes, providing technical expertise.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
- Allocate resources, including personnel and materials, where required to meet project requirements.
- Monitor and manage resource utilization throughout the project.
- Ensure that project work adheres to company BMS standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and control measures.
- Identify potential risks and issues in the project and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
- Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to management and stakeholders.
- Track project expenses and ensure they stay within the allocated budget.
- Prepare cost estimates and manage project finances.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and change orders.
- Ensure all project-related records are organized and accessible.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee necessary permitting and approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Proven experience in project management or as a project engineer in a related field
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
