Job Description

A successful manufacturing company is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage and optimize daily production planning activities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with strong scheduling, inventory, and communication skills. 

Salary + Additional Benefits: 
  • $65,000-$75,000

Location: Beaumont, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Create and distribute production schedules daily.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, quality assurance (QA) to align schedules with material availability and equipment capacity.
  • Key subject matter expert as it relates to scheduling orders, daily capacities, and procurement needs.
  • Adjust schedules in response to unexpected changes, such as equipment breakdowns or urgent customer orders.
  • Responsible for daily update inventory and orders reports.
  • Order supplies as needed to fulfill production demands.
  • Track production progress and resolve scheduling conflicts to minimize conflicts to minimize downtime and inefficiencies.
  • Collect data and distribute periodic sales and production KPI’s.
  • Communicate schedule updates to the team and provide reports on production efficiency and on-time performance (i.e. sales and production KPIs).
  •  Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of scheduling, planning, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage production demands
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and attention to details skills
