Job Description

An industry pioneer and foremost innovator in designing, building, and managing VOC and HAP emissions control strategies is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee field and shop operations and administrative management. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, motivational leader with excellent communication and staff management skills. Working closely with personnel, the new OM will meet/exceed operational and financial objectives through effective leadership and accountability while ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, productivity, and world-class customer service.

Location: Big Spring, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Plan/direct/execute field and shop operations and administrative management.
  • Perform administrative management to include but not limited to:
  • Responsible for review and approval of field tickets and time sheets, Purchase Order system, QMS Inspections, Safety & DOT documents.
  • Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties.
  • Review management reports to include but not limited to: Employee Utilization, Bi-annual Employee Evaluations, Monthly P&L’s.
  • Responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching of field personnel.
  • Responsible for job, shop, inventory management, and audit.
  • Provide safety management and leadership, including but not limited to:
    • JSA’s
    • DOT
    • Conformance to SOPs
    • Hazard Identification
    • Leading by example
    • Safety initiatives
  • Work with safety department and any on site safety representatives to ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and stakeholders.
  • Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Manage Riger and other software for the branch.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant operations experience
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office, operations software, and ERP software
  • Self-starter, results oriented, problem solver, confidential
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
