Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations and Project Management to develop and execute unique resource plans for each project to ensure their safe, timely and successful completion. Resources include: equipment, personnel, and 3rd party services for both onshore and offshore aspects of each project.
- Develop hydraulic drawings and calculations for specialized equipment that meets the performance requirements for each project. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: hydraulic winches, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units, and associated controls.
- Develop project specific technical documentation and procedures such as Commissioning, Testing, Inspection and Refurbishment Checklists, Field Installation, and Operations Procedures, etc.
- In conjunction with Project Management, develop detailed equipment manifests to ensure successful project mobilizations.
- Work closely (hands on) with all aspects of field operations to provide guidance and technical support, as well as feedback to Project Management and Engineering.
- Ensure the Safety Management and Quality Management process and procedures are fully integrated into all field operations.
Requirements:
- 4-year Engineering or Engineering Technology Degree required
- Industrial or educational related internships or past work experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and leadership ability
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in team environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- AutoCAD Mechanical 2D experience or training. 3D geometric modeling experience such as Inventor or Solidworks is a plus
- Must be willing to work outdoors and/or in shops as required to support project work
- Ability to travel as required to project locations, both onshore and offshore
