Commercial and Residential contractor in North Houston is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator/AP Clerk to join their team!

 

Location: Houston, X 77032

Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $16-$19/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to remittance requests from our corporate accounts receivable team so they can properly apply payments to our accounts.
  • Reaches out to aging accounts daily in effort to collect payment.
  • Processes Credit Card payments
  • Reviews accounts regularly to ensure statements are reflecting accurate balances and payment applications.
  • Cleans up accounts by researching hanging balances and processing corrections if needed.
  • Sends aged accounts to collections once all efforts to collect are exhausted and upon branch managers approval
  • Prints and mails statements to customers monthly.
  • Request “Approval to pay” on invoices for customers that require builder approval in order to process payment.
  • Processes Credit Memos for back charges or other write offs that are necessary.
  • Assists office with answering phones

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge in AP, billing, and invoices
  • Intermediate MS Office knowledge (Excel)
  • Ability to work in office with reliable transportation
