Commercial and Residential contractor in North Houston is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator/AP Clerk to join their team!

- Responds to remittance requests from our corporate accounts receivable team so they can properly apply payments to our accounts.
- Reaches out to aging accounts daily in effort to collect payment.
- Processes Credit Card payments
- Reviews accounts regularly to ensure statements are reflecting accurate balances and payment applications.
- Cleans up accounts by researching hanging balances and processing corrections if needed.
- Sends aged accounts to collections once all efforts to collect are exhausted and upon branch managers approval
- Prints and mails statements to customers monthly.
- Request “Approval to pay” on invoices for customers that require builder approval in order to process payment.
- Processes Credit Memos for back charges or other write offs that are necessary.
- Assists office with answering phones
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge in AP, billing, and invoices
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge (Excel)
- Ability to work in office with reliable transportation
