Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the architecture industry, is looking for a friendly and energetic Office Assistant to join its collaborative team!

The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational and communication abilities, along with a grasp of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Working efficiently, the new assistant will contribute significantly to the business by ensuring efficient operations, fostering effective communication, and upholding the highest levels of quality and professionalism.

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

  • Act as the primary greeter or face for our clients.
  • Assist the professional teams with day-to-day tasks, including editing contracts, order, and track supplies.
  • Maintain the office calendar and support our Office Manager.
  • 3-5+ years minimum of admin office experience within a professional setting 
  • Positive attitude, welcoming & friendly, outgoing mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Reliable, professional, punctual, and patient
  • Proactive, self-starter with an excellent work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent references
  • Additional skills that will set you apart –
    • Accounting or Marketing experience
    • Familiarity with Deltek software, and or AIA Contract Documents
    • Experience in an architect’s office
