Job Description

A well-established organization in the construction sector is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee material flow and support daily supply chain functions. This role requires a highly organized and detail-focused individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to streamline logistics operations, coordinate shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to continuous process improvement and timely deliveries.

Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client accounts and support their development.
  • Coordinate multiple shipments via phone and email.
  • Provide shipment updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate transportation rates and services professionally.
  • Source and onboard new carrier partners.
  • Deliver exceptional service to logistics partners and clients.
  • Implement category management initiatives to optimize product movement and reduce expenses.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to enhance logistics efficiency.
  • Maintain precise records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries in alignment with internal policies.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication
  • Highly motivated team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience within a transportation setting
  • Background in Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and inventory management abilities
  • Familiarity with logistics software is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
