Job Description
A well-established organization in the construction sector is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee material flow and support daily supply chain functions. This role requires a highly organized and detail-focused individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to streamline logistics operations, coordinate shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to continuous process improvement and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts and support their development.
- Coordinate multiple shipments via phone and email.
- Provide shipment updates and status reports to stakeholders.
- Negotiate transportation rates and services professionally.
- Source and onboard new carrier partners.
- Deliver exceptional service to logistics partners and clients.
- Implement category management initiatives to optimize product movement and reduce expenses.
- Identify and act on opportunities to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Maintain precise records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries in alignment with internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Highly motivated team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum one year of customer service experience within a transportation setting
- Background in Supply Chain Management preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and inventory management abilities
- Familiarity with logistics software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
