Job Description
Central Texas manufacturer is seeking a Control Room Operator to monitor and manage production processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in chemical manufacturing and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Communicating effectively, the new team member will ensure process stability and product consistency by overseeing shift control room operations, coordinating with production team, and responding to system alerts while supporting a safe work environment and maintaining efficient production flow.

Pay: $24-$27.50
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience operating control room
- 2+ years of experience in petrochemical, industrial plant operations, chemical or relevant industry
- Proficiency in using DCS, SCADA, or other plant control systems
- Strong understanding of process safety, efficient chemical handling, and production operations
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with shift operators
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, operating manuals, and technical instructions
- Physically able to work in a control room and assist in production duties when needed
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Proficient in reading and following SOPs and safety protocols
- Strong math, and troubleshooting skills
- Computer proficiency in data entry and system monitoring
- Valid driver’s license
