A leading provider of integrated engineering and construction services is seeking a Storekeeper Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and inventory control. The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented professional with experience in storekeeping, team supervision, and hands-on warehouse tasks. This role requires familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory management, as well as handling chemical MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).

Working collaboratively, the successful candidate will support operational efficiency by guiding daily workflows, overseeing inventory activities, and supporting team productivity while upholding safety standards, ensuring documentation accuracy, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Job Details:

• Location: Houston, TX 77041

• Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

• Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday–Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

• $23/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and lead storekeeping staff

• Ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing inventory

• Oversee proper packing and handling of shipments, including boxes, crates, and containers

• Manage and maintain MSDS for chemicals in storage and use

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures

• Coordinate shipping and receiving processes efficiently

• Maintain inventory records and perform regular cycle counts

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations

• Team leadership and supervisory experience

• Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and documentation

• Experience with packing various types of containers (boxes, crates, etc.)

• Knowledge of chemical MSDS handling and compliance

• Understanding of pipe and structural materials is a strong plus
