Production Operator
Job Description
A fast-growing pipe manufacturing company is seeking a Production Operator to support the efficient manufacturing of Centrifugally Cast (CC) pipes. The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented professional with hands-on production experience. Working collaboratively, the new team member will help drive continuous workflow by setting up molds, operating machinery, and monitoring production runs while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Rotating Shifts – Employees will rotate between day and night shifts every 6 weeks
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Must be available to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends as needed

Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Run the production of all CC pipes, operate machinery, and maintain an appropriate level of materials for the feeders.
- Visually monitor production runs and document results and materials used.
- Set up and prepare all molds and workstations at the start of each project to ensure seamless production flow.
- Stencil and barcode every finished pipe for accurate identification and traceability as needed.
- Validate the routing of all Production Orders within the ERP system to guarantee that each pipe undergoes the required testing and secondary processing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the production floor.
- Determine and report all machine malfunctions and potential defects to an appropriate Supervisor.
- Complete and document all mold changes to maintain accurate production records.
- Partner with the Quality Control team to ensure all projects comply with ISO standards and meet the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Pressure Pipe Production Manager to ensure all pipes undergo the necessary pressure testing.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and ISO compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) required
- Bilingual or proficiency in a foreign language preferred
