Job Description

A fast-growing boutique law firm is looking for a Legal Assistant to manage various responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in litigation and experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced, and demanding environment. Working collaboratively, the new team member will enhance operational efficiency by ensuring exceptional client service and contributing to the firm’s overall success in legal practice.
                             
Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $18-21/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77018
Type of Position: Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering all expert reports to opposing counsel.
  • Processing all incoming client refund checks.
  • Processing incoming mail.
  • Ordering office supplies.

Requirements:
  • Required to be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Required to have 1+ years of experience in a law firm.
  • Texas e-File preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills where professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity are showcased.
  • Solid organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
