Job Description
A leading company in turn-key chemical blending, toll manufacturing, and private label packaging services is seeking a dependable Janitor/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to manage daily cleaning tasks across offices, restrooms, and common areas. This role plays a key part in supporting a productive work environment by ensuring all areas are sanitized, stocked, and presentable for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and restock restrooms.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Disinfect common areas, door handles, and restroom fixtures.
- Stock and organize cleaning supplies and closets in an orderly fashion.
- Follow safety procedures and company safety policies, checking appliances for hazards.
- Use chemical cleaners and power equipment properly to prevent damage.
- Notify managers of needed repairs or facility concerns.
- Set up or remove furniture and equipment for meetings or events.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper in a manufacturing, office, or hotel environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Safety-minded with knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemical handling
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical activities throughout the day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
