A manufacturing company in The Woodlands is seeking a skilled HR Manager to join their team. This standalone role will manage all hiring, payroll, benefits administration and employee relations matters.  The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of HR disciplines, performance management, and employment laws.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

• $120,000-$140,000 + bonus

• Develop and oversee HR strategies across compensation, benefits, health and safety, staffing, training, and performance management for two locations.
• Lead recruitment, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and compliance checks.
• Support managers with coaching, career development, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; regularly reviews and updates HR policies and practices.
• Conduct investigations, resolves complex employee issues, and fosters positive workplace culture and retention.
• Partners with leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Track and analyzes HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and legal updates; manages training programs and compliance requirements.
• Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, and anti-harassment training. 
• Perform additional HR duties as needed.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or SHRM Certification
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources required; experience in a standalone role required
• Working knowledge of all human resource disciplines, including payroll, compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel periodically within Texas
